Problem Note 43835: Debit and Credit format changes might not be retained in the properties of a SAS® Financial Management composite model

DetailsAboutRate It

If you change the default debit and credit format in the properties of a SAS Financial Management, composite model those changes might not be retained.

For example, after you create a composite model, select the composite model properties. In the 'formats' tab, change the debit accounts with a debit balance to 'Negative numbers' and change the credit accounts with a credit balance to 'Positive numbers'. Select 'OK' to close out of the composite model properties. Select the composite model properties again and you might see that the debit and credit formats are returned to their default values. That is, your changes were not retained.

This is marked as fixed in release 5.3 of SAS Financial Management.
